ZL Massage is one of the larger massage parlors near Nanjing University, and can be found easily due its large, green sign. Inside, there are a variety of different treatments offered, including foot massages, body massages, essential oil massages, candle ear therapy, “gua sha”, and fire pots.
On the cheaper end of things, fire pot treatment costs only 15 RMB and lasts ten minutes. For those that do not know, fire pot treatment basically involves sticking pots or glasses to various parts of the body (using a vaccuum created by fire) to promote overall health. A body or foot massage costs 58 RMB and lasts one hour, while an essential oil massage is slightly more expensive at 80 RMB, and lasting 50 minutes. Pedicures are also available.
Those who want can also try ear candle therapy, though I have never done this myself.
ZL Massage has another branch located on Shanghai Road, close to West Beijing Road.
