According to a related personnel of the constructor, main structure of 8 railway stations, which are the first stage construction of Nanjing-Gaochun Intercity Railway Project (airport light railway line), are completed.
As scheduled, this line will be fully connected on Aug 30, the track laying construction will be completed on Oct 30, and the line will be powered up by the end of Nov. Judging by the time of power-up, the construction of this light railway will be the fastest one of 4 city track traffic lines which will be put into service in 2014. The airport light railway line is expected to be put into trial operation on May 2014.
The first stage construction of Nanjing-Gaochun Intercity Railway Project (airport light railway line) is at a length of 34.9 kilometers, along which are 8 stations – Nanjing South Railway Station, Shengtai Road Station, Focheng West Station, Jiangjun Road Station, Moling Station, Lukouxincheng North Station, Lukouxincheng South Station and Lukou Airport Station.
