We’re almost back to normal. The last of the building site workers have returned, and the machinery is rumbling again as the cranes wave their giant arms overhead. Even the flow of students has slowed to a trickle.
And a brave prediction. With government entities (army, universities, and more) being told to get out of property investment, quite a few buildings will be sold to developers. Get ready for a surge of demolition and building around the CBD. Wandering down Guangzhou Lu, quite a few places are all closed up, and they are prime development sites. As if Metro construction wasn’t enough of a disruption!
