If finally getting the chance to learn some Chinese has been playing in the back of your mind recently and you’re still around Nanjing this summer, then a chance like non other has just come your way. For the second consecutive year in a row Nanjing University is offering free (yes you read it right) free Chinese courses.

Hosted by the School of Liberal Arts, Nanjing University’s recent teaching graduates will offer classes to foreigners interested in learning beginner Chinese and especially those preparing for the HSK test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi). The courses on offer are Communicative Chinese, Strengthening Curriculum of new HSK (different levels) and Chinese Culture, the latter including calligraphy, paper cutting, Chinese cuisine.

For those who will go on to study full time when the new academic year begins, this could be an excellent introduction. For those who have some free time over the summer and wish to spend it wisely, there are surely few better ways to save and study then to take part in this offer.

All classes will be held at the Xianlin campus of Nanjing University from 4th July until 29th July on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
