Ren Xiaoqiang, bridegroom, and Li Xiaotao, bride, attracted quite a bit of attention in Xuzhou, when they decided that the standard wedding car was not for them. With the argument of wanting to hold an environmentally-friendly wedding, the couple used a double decker public bus as mode of transport to their wedding location on 8th march.
“We take bus for work everyday and we think using bus as our wedding car is a good way to promote environment protection.” Ren Xiaoqiang told reporters.
The bus had been decorated with flowers and balloons to give it a festive touch and attracted a large number of well-wishing passengers who went on the trip to the wedding venue with the couple.
