Concert goers are in for a treat this National Day holiday as a major festival brand shall make a stop in our neck of the woods for 2 days of music across two stages, on which shall perform a host of Chinese and international talent.
The sounds of the Bubbling & Boiling Music & Arts Festival shall be filling the air in Nanjing’s neighbouring city of Zhenjiang on 1 and 2 October. Venue for the Festival is to be the Xinhu Park Plaza in Zhenjiang New District.
On the bill, among the musical acts representing China are Kitsch, Papu, Fluffy Lili, Daddy Loong, Kobitos, Nuffin and Fancy Wall, as well as numerous others.
As for the international names appearing at Bubbling & Boiling in Zhenjiang, Hayd from the USA shall take to the Bubbling Stage on Day 1 at around 16:40, while Galdive and Niki from Indonesia perform on the Boiling Stage from around 15:50.
On day 2 on the Boiling Stage, She Her Her Hers from Japan is followed by Motorama from Russia, to each play a 40-minute set from around 14:30.
As to the Arts end of the Festival, among those showing their works is Lazy Back Home, a mixed-media artist with her creations derived from the observation of social behaviour on the internet in a hybrid presentation of occult symbols and network sociology.
Then there is Baboonboom, a visual designer based in Shanghai and Amsterdam, who is interested in the complex and contradictory interplay between vision and language.
As Sohu has reported, Festival goers are reminded that no pets shall be permitted inside the venue. In the event of inclement weather, free raincoats are to be made available. For those with bags, there shall be electronic lockers on site, while mosquito repellent and hot drinking water shall also be on hand.
For the ladies, Bubbling & Boiling ensures feminine hygiene products are available, while fully 60 percent of the toilets on site shall be women only.
