This week was the 10th Anniversary of The British School Nanjing (and the 15th Anniversary of a certain Australian pub). No prizes for guessing what will feature in the photo section of the September issue of The Nanjinger!
It looks like Summer has finished. We’re heading into a period of mid 20s temperatures (no, we’re not translating that for the one major country that clings to the old cumbersome ways). However, remember that late August saw a massive heat wave last year, so maybe there is a last gasp to come. For now, a perfect weekend for a picnic!
The mystery of the piles of lumber remains unresolved as work continues at Xianlin Lake. All the floating water weed has gone. A big change in landscape as they build up a hill in the South West corner of the park. It’s gonna be great when it is finished!
