Horse-riding; A new fashion in Nanjing

With the number of horse-riding club doubled in recent years, riding horse with your friends has become a new way of socializing for Nanjing residents.

Newly emerged horse ranches in Nanjing do not live on holding large-scaled competitions or serving professional horse-riders. Instead, they choose to approach the ordinary people, and run the business in a relatively small land, normally with less than 50 horses. While developing public horse-riding services, they also charge professional horse-owners for fostering or adopting horses, which is a very important means of making money.

Citizens ride horse for various reasons. Some take on horse-riding for the sake of exercise, businessmen make friends by horse-riding and discuss business on horse-backs, while parents consider horse-riding a way to build up their children’s temperament.
