The Marriott Hotel Group announced that it will expand its business to Nanjing.
It will launch a five-star hotel with the cooperation of Kingfine Investment, a local investment company in Nanjing, and the new hotel will start operation in 2016.
Lin Cong, Vice President of China Marriott Hotel Group said that the group has been paying attention to the city’s economic vitality and business consumption level, and it is the right time to enter Nanjing as the market is going mature.
Marriott’s six-star brand Ritz-Carlton is under construction in Deji Plaza in downtown Nanjing and will be open for business in 2014. With 3800 hotels worldwide, Marriott ranks the second in guestroom number in the world.
