The Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo greeted its ice sculpture exhibition “The Kingdom of Polar Ice” on July 12, in which visitors can experience a cool feeling in the burning summer.
“The Kingdom of Polar Ice” , which occupied around 1,000 square meters, was created by 50 original ice sculptors of The Ice Exhibit in Dallas in 40 days using 500 tons of ice. The figures were based on characters in movies, such as Zootopia, Madagascar, and fairy tales.
The exhibition will last until next November. During the exhibition, the ice sculptures will be renewed and the themes will be updated every two or three months, so as to bring visitors with different experience.
