This image, taken from space, shows the thick layer of haze which enveloped Northern China on October 9th. The images were released by NASA’s Earth Observatory.
Widespread smog has affected a large swath of Northern China as well as northwest China’s Shaanxi Province since last Wednesday, negatively impacting air conditions in northern Chinese cities including Beijing and Tianjin.
