The government of Lianyungang city and the Kazakhstan’s state-owned railway company signed a cooperation contract on building transport channels for transit cargo in the Kazakhstan’s presidential palace on Sep 7.
The contract regulates that Lianyungang Port Group and the Kazakhstan’s state-owned railway company will fund the company construction and the management of the container logistics station, marking the transit distribution base of the transport of goods via Sino-Kazakh continental bridge formally settles in Lianyungang.
The two sides will further strengthen their international transport cooperation and take Lianyungang as the access to the sea for the cargos of Kazakhstan to promote the distribution of superior cargos from Kazakhstan and to ensure Lianyungang’s status as the transfer station for goods transported to Kazakhstan from Japan, Korea and South Eastern countries and the goods transported to the third country via Kazakhstan.
