“Melon king” auctioned for charity

20 melons weighting for around fifty kilograms each were auctioned in Xuyi county, Jiangsu province on June 23, 2014. The heaviest melon weighting for 60 kg was sold at ¥16,800 ($2,696) and the smallest one was sold for ¥10,000 ($1,604). All the money gained from the auction will be donated for a special fund for leukemia patients.
