Liu Suzhen, Nanjing Massacre Survivor, Passes Away Aged 93; Now 35 Remain

Liu was only 6 years old when the Japanese army she scalded her with boiling water on her right arm. She once said, “We must remember that only by knowing the bitterness can we know the sweetness.” Lui passed away on 21 April.
