Xinghua City’s Population Declines by 12,300; Falling Birth Rate in Part to Blame

With a permanent population 1.1103 million at the end of 2024, the decrease can be attributed to a birth rate of just 2.96 percent, down on the figure for 2023 of 3.56 percent, with only 4,000 babies born during the year.
