Xuzhou Coal Mining Group (XZCMG) has disclosed that it acquired the exploration rights to 10 coal areas in Australian on Apr 1.
The 10 coal areas are located in Brisbane city, capital of Queensland and Mackay city, Australia with an area of 3,426 square kilometers and more than 500 million tons of coal resources, according to sources.
The amount invested for the project hits AU$2.93 million (US$3.06 million), which is the first overseas investment project of XZCMG since it built its first coal mine 130 years ago.
