Nanjing Massacre Survivor Dies Aged 99; Now just 36 Registered Remain

Chen Guixiang’s grandmother risked her own life to save Chen from being raped by Japanese soldiers. Shooting her grandmother dead, one soldier dragged Chen away but tripped, giving the opportunity to flee and survive. She died on 5 March.
