Following great success last winter with their play Anuncion, comedy group International Spice proudly presents their latest show, Parental Control, to be performed in Nanjing over the next two weekends.
The living-room comedy, as with all good humour, it has an edge that gives substance to the jokes. In this play, we see two couples with very different world views trying to be polite to one another until all pretence is dropped and their real feelings spill out for all to see. If we were not to laugh at the results, we would have to cry because there are some hard truths and awkward contradictions swilling around.
“Parental Control is a sharp comedy performed by an equally pointed and genuinely funny cast. Sparks will fly along with cutlery, tableware, books and things much worse still”, said the show’s director, Bill Aitchson.
Cast Members Parental Control comprise Jennifer Blair-Bianco, David Bianco, Erika Mitschrich and Drew Fethers.
