Following the outbreak of 19-nCoV in Wuhan, Nanjing is joining national efforts at combating the Coronavirus. As the number of cases continues to rise, fever clinics have been established at multiple hospitals in every district of Nanjing.
A total of 55 fever clinics have been set up in all of Nanjing’s 11 districts and state-level Development Zone, Jiangbei New Area.
Anyone with the symptoms of a fever, including a high temperature, cough, etc., should immediately visit one of the clinics. The same goes for anyone who has recently travelled from Wuhan to Nanjing.
In addition, the management of many residential compounds and commercial buildings are undertaking disinfection measures. Teams of building management staff have been busy today disinfecting common-use surfaces such as door handles, lift buttons and handrails.

With the city of Wuhan now under quarantine, the Chinese nation is talking of little else but the virus. Many people are cancelling their new year tradition of visiting family members.
As authorities continue intense efforts at preventing its spread, the outbreak of the virus is turning this Chinese New Year into a very somber occasion indeed.
