An Airbus A320 aircraft from France landed at Nantong Airport on the evening of May 14 and it will become a member of Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology.
The aircraft will settle in the Airport Industrial Park in Nantong and serve as a teaching aid for Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology.
The A320 family has become the prevailing model in the Chinese aviation market. However, there is no training base in the Yangtze River Delta region that specializes in A320 series. The college purchased the A320 aircraft in order to meet the needs of professional aviation training and teaching of aircraft maintenance, air crew and other aspects. The college will also apply for A320 aircraft training qualification to ease the pressure of airline staff training.
