Delicacies made by Russian teachers attracted many students at the Russian Food Festival held by Xuzhou Institute of Technology on Oct 26.
Xuzhou Institute of Technology organized the Russian culture week, including activities such as artistic performance by teachers and students from both Russia and China, Russian oil painting and music appreciation, film show and delicacy, from Oct 26 to Oct 30 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of cooperation between Xuzhou Institute of Technology and St Petersburg State Electrotechnical University.
60-year-old Andre came to Xuzhou Institute of Technology a month ago to teach Russian. After learning of the activity, he and Elena, another foreign teacher, prepared five dishes of food with strong national characteristics.
Students from Jiangsu Technician Institute also made traditional Chinese food at another stand to echo with the Russian food.
