An English training course for the personnel working at Nanjing subway stations started on the morning of Jul 17. A total of 120 subway personnel will receive a four-day-long English training for the upcoming Nanjing Asian Youth Games (AYG).

There are at least two subway personnel at each subway station who can speak English,” said Lou.
After completing their training course, the trainees will be responsible for the training of their colleagues when back to their own units so as to assist more to improve English.
In addition, signs in both Chinese and English will be set up at subway stations near the AYG venues and scenic spots before the AYG, according to Lou.
