Urgently required! Senior English Copywriter in Hangzhou. Both native English speakers and “near natives” that are bilingual can be considered.

The start date of 7 September, 2022, is preferred.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ digital copywriting experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good attention-to-detail and multitasking abilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes and identify priorities effectively
  • Being able to speak Chinese is a huge plus
  • Good understanding of marketing-oriented digital copywriting best practices. Experience
  • working in sales/marketing digital copywriting preferred.
  • Good understanding of content development, content marketing, and localization processes
  • and business.
  • Comfortable working in an international team
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing content copies based on specific guidelines, instructions, and scenes
  • Edit content for better marketing appeal and customer affinity
  • Run social media engagement for user growth and retention
  • Develop UI texts and run usability testing
  • Communicate with source authors to verify details and ensure accuracy of the written content
  • Communicate with multi-language consultants and provide them information and guidance needed for delivering content in the target languages
  • Coordinate multi-language content production
  • Lead projects from planning, task breakdown, and implementation, to feedback and review
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Native English speakers from the United States, England, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, or Australia. Language degree holder preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred majors: language, creative writing
  • Experience in copywriting, content marketing, or localization
  • Experience in structured authoring: be able to organize information in info-structures for maximized clarity
  • In-depth understanding of style elements such as tone, voice, and typography
  • In-depth user experience insights, especially in the content business
  • Understanding of content development, content marketing, and localization business
  • Architectural thinking: be able to break a complex mission into manageable modules
  • Project coordination skills: be able to implement a project on time against challenging deadlines
  • Fast-learning and flexible thinking capabilities
  • Able to communicate ideas and thoughts in an organized manner
  • Strong logical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in a second language (as a plus)
