This day, 11 April, in 1955, a bomb exploded aboard the Kashmir Princess, or Air India Flight 300, carrying a Chinese and Vietnamese delegation, together with journalists, and flying from Hong Kong to Jakarta, to participate in the Afro-Asian Bandung Conference. 16 passengers and crew members drowned at sea. It was thought to be an assissination attempt on Zhou Enlai.
