Talking is a favourite among the local foreign students for many reasons. If you want a relaxing atmosphere to practice any language you want in, while having a good meal, try this place out, because it attracts all the international students from Nanjing University and Nanjing Normal University (so it has a decidedly bohemian feel to it). If you live in the area, it might just become your new watering hole.
More recently Talking has expanded to four locations. Talking 2,3 and 5 (no 4 as it is synonymous with death in Chiense) are located on Jinyin Street directly across the street from Nanjing University’s foreign student dormitory while Talking 6 & 7 are to be found on Shipopoan, near to 1912.
