On this Day in Chinese History; 14 April

This day, 14 April, 2011, the third BRICS leaders’ meeting was held in Sanya, Hainan, with Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and South African President Jacob Zuma in attendance. It was the first five-nation leaders’ meeting since South Africa joined the BRICS mechanism and the first with China as host.
