The 10th French Film Panorama organized by the uniFrance (uniFrance is an organization for promoting French films outside France) and Embassy of France in China opened in Nanjing on June 7. Eight full-length feature films and 2 short film collections, including Amour (Love) and Camille Redouble (Camille Rewinds), will be displayed in the following 10 days. All movies will be displayed in original French soundtrack with Chinese subtitles.
Amour (Love) is no doubt the most popular French movie in 2012. This movie has won dozens of global awards including Cannes Film Festival Golden Palm, Cesar Award and Oscar Award for Best Foreign Film. Amour（Love）will be shown 3 times in Lumiere Pavilion Cinema at Greenland Center on June 8 and Hongyang Square Cinema on June 9 respectively, which is definitely a good news for fans of the French style of romance.
Ms Elizabeth, chief representative of uniFrance in China, introduced that the number of the audience who watched Amour in France is 770,000, which is 1% of the French population. “If we convert that number according to the Chinese population, the box office will take in 500 million,” said Ms Elizabeth.
