World’s Largest Shield Cutter to Tunnel 11,325.5 Metres from Shanghai to Suzhou

The “Pilot” weighs 440 tons and has a cutterhead with a diameter of 15.4 metres and a total weight of 440 tonnes. It is being deployed for the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel between Chongming District of Shanghai and Taicang in Suzhou.
