Nanjing Now Operating 11 International Flights out of Lukou

The resumption of international flights to and from Nanjing has steadily increased to the point now where 11 flights have been restored, including two which have been permitted to increase frequency after bringing not one Covid-infected person to China.

In addition to the restored flights to Frankfurt, Helsinki and Vancouver which The Nanjinger previously reported, Nanjing Lukou International Airport is now also servicing Bangkok, Hanoi, Macau, Manila, Milan, Osaka, Seoul and Singapore.

The full list of direct flights from Nanjing to other countries at present follows, together with flight numbers and departure/arrival times to aid with itinerary planning.

  • Nanjing to Bangkok: Air Asia 377 (subject to occasional cancellation)
  • Nanjing to Frankfurt: Lufthansa 781 on Tuesdays at 13:10, arriving 19:00
  • Nanjing to Helsinki: Finnair 106 on Sundays at 09:35, arriving 14:20 (commencing 13 September)
  • Nanjing to Hanoi: Vietnam Airlines 5729 on Saturdays at 16:40, arriving 18:20
  • Nanjing to Macau: Air Macau 127 on Mondays and Fridays at 15:55, arriving 18:50
  • Nanjing to Manila: PAL Express 2639 on Mondays at 18:10, arriving 21:20
  • Nanjing to Milan: Neos 977 on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:00, arriving 17:05
  • Nanjing to Osaka: Juneyao Airlines on Thursdays at 12:20, arriving 15:40
  • Nanjing to Seoul: Asiana 350 on Sundays at 14:50, arriving 18:10

A word of congratulations is also due, to Italy’s Neos airlines, for becoming the second airline to be granted permission to extend the frequency of their flights to two per week, revealed Nanjing Lukou International Airport on Tuesday.

Together with Air Macau, the two have satisfied China’s epidemic prevention authorities requirements that state airlines may apply to increase their frequency of flights after no passengers test positive for Covid for 3 consecutive weeks.
