About Me

Norman Cherry was formerly Pro Vice Chancellor for Arts and Humanities at the University of Lincoln, UK. Currently he practises as an independent jewellery and metals artist, curator, and consultant. Prior to his appointment at Lincoln in 2008, he was Head of the Birmingham School of Jewellery. His work has been exhibited extensively internationally and many of his pieces are held in private and public collections throughout the world. He is a Visiting Professor at Nanjing Arts University and Tsing Hua University in China, and Special Consulting Professor in the School of Fine Arts at Shanghai University.
